Knock Knock Knock

A first taste of these very recently signed young Canadians. 5 songs of what the fine folks at Aquarius Records in San Francisco are calling “contorto-rock” (do yourself a favor and buy records from Aquarius, they are great, knowldgeable and friendly, plus they do a bang-up mail-order business via their website). Keyboard-driven, angst-riddled, new wave-y rock, recorded (at least in part) by Chris Walla from Death Cab for Cutie, this EP provides evidence of a far more developed sense of F-U-N than typically expected of the Spock set (which, by the way, is a decidedly good thing).
